ThinkRail

A JetBrains-branded desktop and mobile client for the `pi` coding agent that runs `pi` in-process and bridges it to a mobile-first UI, opening a Git repository as a project with per-worktree workspaces.

ThinkRail

ThinkRail is a thin host: the pi agent owns models, skills, context compaction, cost and session state, while the app owns the workspace, the editor and the wire between them. Its first version is a worktree IDE: opening a Git repository as a project spins up workspaces as git worktrees, each with its own branch and working directory.

Each worktree gets a tabbed Monaco editor, a Git changes view, terminals, a read-only spec-graph viewer, and multiple concurrent pi chat sessions, all scoped to that worktree. Its own website, thinkrail.ai, doubles as the product's landing page, blog and browser-based experience.

It ships as a native desktop installer and as a self-contained thinkrail CLI that opens the same app in a browser, both published with SHA-256 checksums; the Windows build is signed by JetBrains, while macOS and Linux signing and notarization are still in progress.
