tidev

An AI coding agent written in pure Rust with a terminal interface, four specialized sub-agents for exploring, documenting, reviewing and implementing, multi-provider model support, and a built-in tool set for editing, search and shell execution.

tidev

tidev is an AI coding agent built entirely in Rust, reimplementing the interaction model of OpenCode with attention to performance and memory efficiency. It runs in a terminal user interface and supports Anthropic, OpenAI Chat Completions, OpenAI Responses and Gemini as model providers, with configurable presets and fallback models.

Work can be delegated to four specialized sub-agent roles: an Explorer for code search, a Librarian for documentation, an Oracle for architecture review, and a Fixer for fast implementation, each with its own system prompt, tool set and optionally its own model. Its built-in tools cover file operations, code search, shell command execution with permission control, session and task management, and web search and page fetching, and it supports the Model Context Protocol for earlier versions.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
