ToolJet

An open-source low-code platform for building internal tools such as admin panels, dashboards and operational apps on existing databases, APIs and SaaS systems, with AI app generation and an MCP server for coding agents.

ToolJet

ToolJet apps can be built by prompting, with ToolJet AI turning a description into pages, queries and components, by visual drag-and-drop editing, or by an external coding agent such as Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build or Cursor working through ToolJet's own Model Context Protocol server. Agents build against ToolJet's component and data schemas rather than emitting free-form code, so the result is an app the team can keep editing in the visual builder under the same permissions and version history as everything else.

The Community Edition includes more than 80 responsive UI components, a built-in no-code database, multi-page apps with multiplayer editing, over 90 data source connectors, deployment on Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP or Azure, inline comments and access control, a CLI for building plugins and connectors, in-app JavaScript and Python execution, and AES-256-GCM encryption with SSO support. A paid ToolJet AI tier adds AI query building, AI-assisted debugging and an agent builder for workflow automation.

It can be self-hosted or run through ToolJet Cloud.
