Top-Conf Figure Gallery
A searchable, filterable gallery of well-designed Figure 1 and teaser images from top machine-learning conference papers between 2023 and 2026, meant as visual reference for designing a paper's own opening figure.
Top-Conf Figure Gallery collects 3,516 hand-reviewed Figure 1 and teaser images from ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, CVPR, ACL and AAAI papers published between 2023 and 2026. Every card links back to its source paper and records the venue, year, authors and a visual-pattern tag, and oral, spotlight and best-paper figures are tagged for ICLR, ICML and NeurIPS. It runs as a static HTML, CSS and JavaScript site with infinite-scroll masonry, a lightbox and full-text search over titles and authors, and needs no build step or backend.
Its pipeline indexes conference proceedings, downloads PDFs, crops the Figure 1 region, scores design quality, removes near-duplicates by perceptual hash, and has a human review every remaining candidate page by page; heuristic rules first discard plain matplotlib charts, tables, GUI screenshots and photo dumps. A companion tool, FigureForge, uses the gallery's figures as layout scaffolds to help draft a new paper's own Figure 1 entirely in the browser.
