TypeDB

A database with a strongly-typed, polymorphic data model and a declarative query language called TypeQL that unifies relational, document, and graph modeling in one schema.

TypeDB

TypeDB is a database with a modern programming paradigm meant to let data applications be built faster, safer, and more elegantly, unifying the strengths of relational, document, and graph databases in one intuitive data model. Its query language, TypeQL, is declarative, functional, and strongly typed, aimed at simplifying data handling and logic even for deeply nested and interconnected datasets.

Its schema is based on a type system that natively supports inheritance and interfaces, modeling data as user-defined types that subtype three root types: entities, which are independent objects; relations, which depend on role interfaces played by entities or other relations; and attributes, properties with a value owned by entities or relations. It can be deployed in the cloud or downloaded and installed as TypeDB Community Edition, and comes with language drivers and a graphical interface, TypeDB Studio, alongside get-started and concept documentation for both TypeDB and TypeQL.
