umadev

A coding agent that drives an existing AI coding CLI, such as Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode, and adds role-based team orchestration on top, assigning depth-appropriate work to advisory product, architecture, frontend, backend, QA, security and DevOps roles under one coordinator.

umadev

umadev does not host its own model; it drives one of five underlying AI coding CLIs, Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Grok Build or Kimi Code, and adds a layer of role-based team orchestration around it. For work whose depth warrants it, bounded sessions take on product, architecture, UI/UX, frontend, backend, QA, security and DevOps assignments, while a small edit stays a small edit; the roles are advisory rather than independent decision-makers.

A coordinator role routes each request, owns a visible plan for larger work, schedules the other roles, evaluates quality gates, and keeps an audit trail, without generating code itself, since the underlying CLI does that. It reports failed or incomplete work honestly rather than claiming every request becomes shippable software, and ships as a single Rust binary distributed through npm or a native installer that verifies its own release checksum.

  • The City

    github.com

A native macOS app that shows Claude Code runs as a city, with each project as a building, each team as a floor of robots, and every animation driven by a real event from the claude CLI's stream.

  • rig

    tryrig.ai

A small, single-binary agent runtime that points at any OpenAI-compatible model, local or hosted, reads and edits a repository's code, runs its tests and remembers what it learned, with a loop implemented in a few hundred lines.

  • Jauvex

    jauvex.reindent.com

An Electron desktop app that puts Claude Code, Codex and Grok coding-agent sessions side by side and lets you steer them by voice, with a small model handling fast routing decisions.
