Unity MCP Plugin

A free, open-source Unity Editor package that exposes 288 tools over MCP so AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor or Windsurf can control scenes, GameObjects, builds, Shader Graph, terrain, physics and more.

Unity MCP Plugin

Unity MCP Plugin runs a lightweight HTTP bridge inside the Unity Editor that a companion MCP server connects to, exposing 288 tools across 30-plus categories to any MCP-compatible AI assistant. Covered areas include scene and GameObject management, component and asset editing, C# script creation, multi-platform builds, console and compilation errors, and running the Unity Test Runner.

It targets AI-assisted game development: an assistant can build a scene, write gameplay scripts, generate terrain and materials, and trigger builds through the same tool set. It is maintained by AnkleBreaker Studio and installs through the Unity Package Manager.
