Vibe Annotations

A browser extension and local server that lets developers annotate elements on a localhost web page and hand the feedback to an AI coding agent to implement automatically.

Vibe Annotations

Vibe Annotations is a visual feedback tool for web development: a browser extension lets a developer annotate elements directly on a localhost page, note design tweaks, and share them with an AI coding agent or a teammate. A single setup command installs a global server, starts it in the background, and configures the chosen AI coding agent, including Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex or OpenClaw.

Annotations can be sent to an agent either through an MCP integration that implements them automatically, or by copying them to the clipboard for manual use. The tool also supports collaboration through file sharing, AI-assisted annotations, and a watch mode.

It is written in JavaScript, distributed under the PolyForm Shield 1.0.0 license.
