Vibe Workflow

A five-step prompt and command-line workflow that takes an idea through research, a product requirements document, a technical design and a build plan, then helps verify and recover a project.

Vibe Workflow

Vibe Workflow is a set of prompt templates and a companion command-line tool for planning, building, checking and recovering a project built with an AI coding agent such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Gemini CLI. Run inside a project folder, it inspects what already exists and routes to starting something new, continuing an existing project, or diagnosing something that broke, scaling how many questions it asks to the project's size through quick, guided or deep planning.

Its five steps move from deep research, which checks whether an idea is worth building and reads competitors and demand, through a product requirements document and a technical design that picks a stack and deployment target, to generating agent instruction files and then building in small, verified passes. The first three steps can be done by pasting prompts into any chat tool such as ChatGPT, Claude.ai or Gemini before a repository exists, and slash commands are available for making a change, debugging or verifying an existing app.

It is written in TypeScript, installs through npx, and is released under the MIT license.
