Warp

Warp is an agentic development environment built around the terminal, pairing a built-in coding agent with support for external CLI agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI.

Warp

Development of the client is organized around "Warp Factories," open infrastructure for building agent-driven software pipelines that triage issues, write specs, implement changes and review pull requests, visible on a public contributions dashboard that also shows top contributors, in-flight features and individual agent sessions rendered in a web-compiled terminal.

Contributions follow a labeled issue workflow: a maintainer marks an issue ready for a written spec or ready for implementation before a contributor picks it up, with a dedicated Slack channel for questions and pairing. The client's own UI framework crates are MIT licensed, while the remainder of the client codebase is AGPL v3.

Built primarily in Rust.
