Website Cloner - Next.js Agent Template

A production-oriented Next.js starter template for rebuilding a live website as a typed Next.js application using AI coding agents, with a reproducible multi-step clone workflow.

Website Cloner - Next.js Agent Template

This template scaffolds a Next.js application designed to be filled in by an AI coding agent's clone-website command, which recreates a website's design as a typed, production application. It defines a workflow of reconnaissance, foundation, component specs, parallel builders, and assembly and QA, tracked through screenshots, design tokens and component specs stored in the repository.

It ships a strict TypeScript toolchain with ESLint, Vitest and CI validation, an optional Redis-backed cache for multi-step clone-session persistence with an in-memory fallback for local development, and a small HTTP API for cache health and session management. Agent instructions live in a single AGENTS.md file that is synced to more than ten AI coding platforms.

Deployment uses a standalone Next.js build with Docker Compose. Users are expected to start from their own copy of the template rather than committing generated output back to it. It is written in TypeScript and licensed under MIT.
