WhoDB

A lightweight, self-hosted workspace for browsing databases, editing data, running queries, and viewing schema relationships, with optional AI features connected to a provider of the user's choice.

WhoDB

WhoDB gives a developer one place to explore a database: browsing and editing data in a spreadsheet-style grid with sorting, filtering, and pagination, viewing an interactive graph of tables and relationships, working through queries in a scratchpad with autocomplete and history, and importing, exporting, or generating mock data. It runs in the browser and is available as a desktop app or a terminal CLI.

AI features are optional: a user can connect Ollama, OpenAI, Anthropic, LM Studio, or another OpenAI-compatible provider to ask questions about the data in plain English. WhoDB Community supports PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, YugabyteDB, QuestDB, MySQL, MariaDB, TiDB, SQLite, DuckDB, MongoDB, FerretDB, Redis, Valkey, Dragonfly, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, ClickHouse, and Memcached, with support varying by what each database exposes.

It is written in Go and released under the Apache-2.0 license.
