XcodePaI

An Xcode extension that adds a local proxy for AI code completion and an agent mode to Xcode 26, letting any OpenAI-format model provider power inline suggestions, codebase-aware edits and git commit messages.

XcodePaI

XcodePaI is an Xcode extension that runs a local proxy server so Xcode's coding assistant and inline suggestions can be backed by any model provider that speaks the OpenAI completions or chat-completions format, including Ollama, Alibaba Cloud, OpenRouter and others.

Its agent mode extends Xcode's coding assistant with the ability to understand and modify a codebase directly: applying intelligent edits to files, searching the codebase for relevant snippets, creating new files and directories, working across multiple files and folders, and running configured Model Context Protocol tools. A code-completion mode offers auto-complete suggestions from a written comment or partial code, and a git integration can generate commit messages from staged changes with a model.

It requires macOS 15 or later and Xcode 16 or later, and installs by downloading and unzipping the app into the Applications folder.
