xiaohongshu-mcp

An MCP server that gives an AI assistant direct access to Xiaohongshu (RedNote), letting it log in, publish image or video posts, search content, read post details and comments, and post comments on the user's behalf.

xiaohongshu-mcp

xiaohongshu-mcp is a Model Context Protocol server for Xiaohongshu (also known as RedNote), giving an AI assistant direct access to the platform's data and actions instead of only reading a page.

It supports logging in and checking login status, publishing image-and-text posts with local or remote images, publishing local video files with automatic format handling, searching content by keyword, fetching the homepage recommendation feed, retrieving a post's full details including engagement counts and comments, and posting comments on a post.

A companion browser-extension version, without Docker or a deployed server, is offered for users who want a simpler, zero-configuration setup. It is written in Go and released under the Apache 2.0 license.
