XMemo CLI

A command-line control plane that installs, authenticates, diagnoses and connects the XMemo memory service across editors, CLIs and autonomous AI agents through a hosted or local MCP server.

XMemo CLI

@xmemo/client is the official control plane for connecting AI tools to XMemo, a private memory layer for AI agents. It makes setup repeatable, keeps credentials out of project files, and gives every supported client the same path to durable, user-owned memory.

One CLI, xmemo (aliased client), handles login, diagnostics, configuration, profiles, updates and smoke checks; generated project configuration references a credential rather than embedding it. OpenClaw and Hermes get dedicated native memory integrations, while other editors, terminals and agent runtimes connect through a hosted Streamable HTTP MCP server or a local stdio MCP server. Setup and removal support preview, dry-run or explicit confirmation before making changes.

Built with Node.js 20 or later, distributed as the @xmemo/client npm package with a file allowlist and release provenance to limit supply-chain surface. MIT licensed.
