Zafiro

An open-source, bring-your-own-key AI agent for Android that controls the phone, runs Shell and Python natively, and connects to remote machines over SSH.

Zafiro

Zafiro is an Android AI agent that reads the screen, controls the device, and carries out operations across apps, with support for skills, MCP and memory. It runs through Shizuku so no root is required, though rooted devices get additional capabilities, and it can also take over the system voice assistant through the LSPosed framework.

It runs Shell and Python 3 natively on the device and can wrap its own tools for tasks such as web search and file downloads, or connect over SSH to a remote development machine or server, including issuing tasks to a remote Claude Code session. It works with a user's own API keys across providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek and OpenRouter.

Conversations can be rewound, edited and regenerated, all data stays local, and models can be switched mid-session. It is written in Kotlin and licensed under MIT.
