Zendesk MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol server that gives an AI assistant access to Zendesk tickets, comments, and Help Center articles, authenticating as the operator who runs it.

Zendesk MCP Server

Zendesk MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol server for Zendesk. It provides tools for retrieving and managing tickets and comments, prompts for ticket analysis and drafting responses, and access to Help Center articles as a knowledge base.

It authenticates over OAuth with each operator's own Zendesk login, so API calls carry that operator's identity and Zendesk applies their normal role, group restrictions, and ticket access; comments posted through it are attributed to them. An older API token method still works but is deprecated.

Setup registers a public OAuth client in Zendesk's Admin Center with a redirect URL and scoped permissions, then configures the server through environment variables such as the subdomain and client identifier.
