Chucker

An Android library, forked from Chuck, that inspects HTTP and HTTPS traffic made through OkHttp, recording every request and response for review inside the app.

Chucker

Chucker simplifies inspecting HTTP and HTTPS requests and responses made by an Android app. It works as an OkHttp interceptor that persists every request and response inside the application and provides a UI for inspecting and sharing their content; apps using it show a notification summarizing ongoing HTTP activity that opens the full Chucker UI, or can launch that UI directly and suppress the notification.

It is added as a Gradle dependency, with a debug-only library variant and a release no-op variant so it can be isolated from release builds, and a new interceptor is then added to an OkHttp client builder. Adding it as a network interceptor rather than an application interceptor lets it also record the connected peer's IP and everything OkHttp sends on the wire, including headers added by other interceptors, though that peer may be a proxy, VPN, CDN edge, or load balancer rather than the origin server.
