CivetWeb

An easy-to-use, embeddable C and C++ web server with optional CGI, SSL, and Lua support, usable as a library or as a standalone executable.

CivetWeb

CivetWeb is a web server designed to be embedded into an existing C or C++ application as a library, adding HTTP server functionality with a small footprint. It can also run standalone as a single executable with no installation required, for end users who just want a local web server on Windows or Linux.

It supports optional CGI, SSL/TLS (including via OpenSSL), and Lua scripting, and documents how to embed it in an application, build it from source, run it in Docker, and configure HTTPS. CivetWeb was forked from Mongoose in 2013, before Mongoose's license changed, and is distributed under the MIT license.
