Claude Code Usage Monitor

A terminal monitor for Claude Code usage that reads official rate-limit data, forecasts token consumption against plan resets, and keeps an opt-in local usage history.

Claude Code Usage Monitor

Claude Code Usage Monitor is a companion tool for Claude Code that combines a live terminal display with Claude Code's own statusline rate-limit data, machine-readable state and export output, and forecasting. It labels every number with its source -- official, local estimate, experimental, or unknown -- so users can tell trusted figures from approximations.

It provides reset-aware pace tracking, forecasts based on the current date, official-only weekly percentage reporting, and behavior for when a usage limit is reached. It can scan multiple data directories, including WSL locations, without merging unrelated accounts into one five-hour window, and keeps an opt-in local history of usage by project, model and day, with CSV and JSON reports.

Output modes include a live Rich terminal display, one-shot text or JSON output, a compact mode, and state files meant for external companion tools such as GUIs or status bars to consume.
