Claude SDK for TypeScript
The official TypeScript SDK for the Claude API, providing typed access to Anthropic's language models for server-side JavaScript and TypeScript applications across Node.js, Deno, Bun, Cloudflare Workers and Vercel Edge.
The Claude SDK for TypeScript gives server-side TypeScript or JavaScript applications typed access to the Claude API, installed as a single npm package. A minimal client call takes an API key, a message list and a model name and returns the model's response content.
It supports TypeScript 5.0 and newer and runs on Node.js 20 LTS or later, Deno 1.28 or higher, Bun 1.0 or later, Cloudflare Workers, Vercel Edge Runtime, Nitro 2.6 or greater, and Jest 28 or greater under the Node test environment. Browser use is disabled by default, since it would otherwise expose a secret API key to end users, but can be explicitly enabled for cases where that trade-off is accepted; React Native is not supported.
It is maintained by Anthropic and released under the MIT license.
