copilot-sdk

copilot-sdk is a software development kit for adding an AI copilot to a product. It provides a React provider and pre-built chat UI components for the frontend, and a companion LLM SDK for the backend that offers one interface across providers such as OpenAI, Google, xAI and Anthropic, including streaming responses and server-side tools the AI can call.

Because it connects to any LLM and is meant to be deployed on the developer's own infrastructure, the stated goal is to let a team keep control of both the model and its data rather than depend on a single hosted provider.

It installs as an npm package with separate entry points for the React components, the UI kit, core utilities and the LLM SDK, and is written in TypeScript.
