CrossPaste

A cross-platform clipboard manager that syncs copied text, images, files and other content between Mac, Windows and Linux devices over an end-to-end encrypted, LAN-only connection with no cloud server involved.

CrossPaste

CrossPaste syncs pasteboard content, including text, color values, URLs, HTML, RTF, images and files, across a user's own Mac, Windows and Linux devices in real time. It runs as a serverless, LAN-only architecture with asymmetric end-to-end encryption, so content stays under the user's control rather than passing through a cloud service, and includes automatic cleanup of stored clipboard history.

Built-in OCR extracts text from images locally without a network call, a command-line interface copies, pastes and searches history from the terminal or scripts, and a Chrome extension syncs the browser's clipboard with other devices. An MCP server exposes clipboard history to AI assistants such as Claude over the Model Context Protocol.

It is a cross-platform desktop application built with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Desktop.
