Ebitengine

A cross-platform 2D game engine for the Go programming language, handling graphics, input and audio so games can be developed once and deployed to desktop, mobile, web and consoles.

Ebitengine

Ebitengine (formerly Ebiten) is an open-source 2D game engine for Go. Its API covers 2D graphics with matrix-based transformations, composition modes, offscreen rendering, text rendering, automatic batching and texture atlasing, plus custom shaders, alongside input handling for mouse, keyboard, gamepads and touch, and audio playback for Ogg/Vorbis, MP3, WAV and PCM.

Games built with Ebitengine can run on Windows, macOS, Linux, FreeBSD, Android, iOS, WebAssembly and, with limited support, Nintendo Switch and Xbox.

It is licensed under Apache 2.0 and bundles third-party libraries under their own licenses.
