Excelize

A pure Go library for reading and writing Microsoft Excel spreadsheet files, including charts, images and a streaming API for large datasets.

Excelize

Excelize is a library written in pure Go that reads and writes XLAM, XLSM, XLSX, XLTM and XLTX spreadsheet files, supporting documents generated by Microsoft Excel 2007 and later. It handles complex spreadsheet components with high compatibility and provides a streaming API for generating or reading worksheets that contain large amounts of data.

The library supports creating new spreadsheets, reading existing ones, adding charts built from worksheet data or with no underlying data at all, and adding pictures to a spreadsheet, each with example usage in its documentation. Excelize requires Go 1.26.0 or later, and full documentation is available through Go's built-in documentation tool as well as online.

It is installed with go get, using the /v2 import path for projects managed with Go Modules, and is released under the BSD 3-Clause license; its XML handling complies with part 1 of the fifth edition of the ECMA-376 Open XML standard.
