fhir-codegen

A .NET application and library for generating code from FHIR healthcare-interoperability specifications, including cross-version mapping and multiple output languages.

fhir-codegen

fhir-codegen is a .NET application, library, and related set of utilities for working with FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) specifications, generating code in supported output languages from those specifications. Its documentation covers an introduction to the project, a guide to the supported output languages, a cross-version mapping pipeline for translating between different FHIR versions, an auto-generated command-line reference, and an XMLDoc-driven API reference for its library set.

The documentation site is rebuilt from the main branch automatically on every push by a GitHub Actions workflow, with its authoring sources and build configuration tracked in the repository. The project is maintained under the FHIR Foundation, is offered under the MIT License, and follows the HL7 Code of Conduct for contributors; FHIR is a registered trademark of HL7, used with permission.
