glad

A multi-language Vulkan, OpenGL, GLES, EGL, GLX, and WGL loader-generator based on the official specifications, with a web service that generates the loader files a project needs.

glad

glad is a loader-generator for Vulkan, OpenGL, GLES, EGL, GLX, and WGL, based on the official specifications, that supports multiple target languages including C, C++, Rust, Nim, D, and Pascal. Its current 2.0 branch adds functionality over the 1.0 generator but changes its API, and some languages remain available only through the older glad1 generator.

A hosted web service for glad2 generates the loader files a project needs without installing the generator locally, and example programs cover use with GLFW, SDL2, SDL3, and Vulkan in C and C++, and with GLFW in Rust, including multiple-window and multiple-context setups. A community-maintained plugin adds Fortran support. The generated loader code itself is released as Public Domain, WTFPL, or CC0, while some of the Khronos specification files it is generated from carry an Apache 2.0 license.
