Hronaut

A visible, persistent Electron browser that exposes durable, named agent workspaces over MCP, so a coding agent's browser session stays open and inspectable independently of any one AI conversation.

Hronaut

Each MCP command binds to a named local workspace with its own browser profile, account, origin and tab context, letting a person watch, pause, approve or take over while an agent works; the calling agent or framework keeps its own orchestration and task state, and can require verified evidence from the browser before treating an external action as complete.

The project describes itself explicitly as a local execution layer, not an agent framework, a hosted browser fleet, or a no-code platform; orchestration and final decisions stay with the calling system.

It ships as a downloadable Electron app for Windows, macOS and Linux, and its documentation compares it against Playwright MCP, Chrome DevTools MCP and extension-based Browser MCP options.

  • EvoFlux

    evoelsewhere.asia

A local-first desktop workspace where teams of AI agents build software, do research and automate browser tasks together, with per-agent models, permissions and a repository-aware coding mode.
