IHaskell

A Haskell kernel for Jupyter that lets you write and run Haskell code in Jupyter notebooks and the Jupyter console.

IHaskell

IHaskell is a kernel that adds Haskell support to Jupyter, so Haskell code can be written and executed interactively in a Jupyter notebook or console frontend, with support for GHC versions 8.4 through 9.14. It can be tried directly in the browser through a hosted Binder instance, and example notebooks and a feature tour are available on the project's wiki.

Installing it locally requires Haskell (via ghcup), Jupyter, and several system libraries such as zeromq, cairo, and pango, after which the ihaskell executable is built and installed either through Cabal or Stack, and then registered as a Jupyter kernel so it appears as a selectable kernel in notebook interfaces such as VS Code. It is MIT licensed.
