Kubb
Kubb is a plugin-based code generation framework that reads an OpenAPI schema and generates TypeScript types, typed clients, TanStack Query or SWR hooks, Zod validators and mock handlers from it.
Kubb is a meta framework for code generation. Pointed at an OpenAPI 2.0, 3.0 or 3.1 schema, it generates TypeScript types, a typed client, query and mutation hooks, validators and mocks from one source, through a set of separately enabled plugins such as plugin-ts, plugin-axios, plugin-fetch, plugin-react-query, plugin-swr, plugin-zod and plugin-msw.
Generated HTTP clients support axios or fetch, with status-keyed results, authentication, validation, file uploads, server-sent events and interceptors. Output can be grouped by tag, written to disk or memory, or sent to a custom storage backend, and generation can run inside a bundler through a Vite, Nuxt, Astro or webpack plugin.
A companion Kubb Studio gives a browser interface for configuring and inspecting generations, and an MCP server plugin lets AI tools such as Claude or Cursor drive generation directly. Kubb itself is MIT licensed and works without Studio.
