MLX42

MLX42 is a minimal windowing and graphics library that provides primitive tools for drawing and updating textures on a window at runtime, without requiring direct use of a platform's native windowing framework. It is built on GLFW and OpenGL, using batched rendering for performance, and runs on Windows, Linux and macOS wherever it can be compiled, plus in the browser through Emscripten and WebAssembly.

Written for Codam and maintained by Codam staff along with students from the 42 Network, MLX42 is a fixed, functioning open-source alternative to the original miniLibX used in 42 school coursework. The project is considered feature-complete and receives mainly bug fixes rather than large changes, and it documents its functions, usage and internal workings in detail.
