Perles

A terminal UI for the Beads issue tracker, with its own boolean query language for searching issues, browsing dependency trees, and building custom kanban views without leaving the terminal.

Perles

Perles is a terminal user interface for Beads-based issue tracking, built around a custom Beads Query Language, BQL, for searching issues with boolean logic and filtering by date. It lets a user traverse dependency trees between issues and build custom kanban board views, all from the terminal rather than a separate web interface.

It runs inside any directory that contains a Beads data folder, working against either the standard Beads tool or its Rust reimplementation, and requires a minimum Beads database version, with a migration command available for older projects. It installs through a shell install script or Homebrew on macOS and Linux, and is described as supporting a multi-agent orchestration control-plane workflow runner on top of the underlying issue-tracking data. It is MIT licensed and written in Go.
