Revise

A document editor library for React with full DOCX import and export, real pagination, tracked changes, comments, live collaboration, and tools for AI agents to edit documents.

Revise

Revise is a React component library for editing documents, distributed as an npm package. It reads and writes DOCX files, paginates a document the way a word processor does, and supports tracked changes and comments, alongside real-time collaboration between multiple editors.

It exposes an editor API, including agentic tool calling, so an AI agent can operate on a document through the same interface a person's editor uses, for example changing specific blocks of a contract and reporting what changed.

Revise is closed-source software, free for evaluation, personal projects, and education; production use by a business, nonprofit, or government body requires a separate commercial license.
