rvQR
Transfers files between two devices with no network, by animating one device's screen as a stream of QR codes for the other device's camera to read.
rvQR moves files between devices using only a screen and a camera. On the sending device, a file from a local vault is animated as a stream of QR codes; on the receiving device, the camera (or an uploaded photo of the screen) decodes the frames, verifies them against a SHA-256 manifest, and stores the result. No pairing, accounts or network connection is needed.
It is built to move RVF cognitive containers (compact vector-search bundles) and WASM artifacts. A standalone single-file build inlines the whole app, including demo artifacts and the RVF microkernel, into about 1.2 MB with no network requests at all, so it keeps working on a machine that has never been online — useful for the air-gapped side of a transfer.
It is a progressive web app written in JavaScript with a WebAssembly runtime, and is MIT licensed.
