STCC

The Super Tiny Compiler, a well-known minimal educational compiler example, reimplemented in Ada, taking a small Lisp-like expression and compiling it to a line of C-style function-call code.

STCC

STCC is a hand-written Ada port of the Super Tiny Compiler, an existing minimal example used to teach how a compiler's pipeline fits together. Given an input expression such as (add 2 (subtract 4 2)), it compiles it into the equivalent C-style call expression, add(2, subtract(4, 2));.

It runs from a prebuilt release binary, ./stcc, or through Tada, an Ada build tool, with tada run and tada test for running and testing it directly from source.
