terminal-browser

A real Chromium-based browser that renders inside a terminal window, letting a coding agent and a live website share the same terminal tab and interact with the page.

terminal-browser

terminal-browser runs an actual Chromium browser and displays its pixels directly inside a terminal that supports the kitty graphics protocol, using Electron's offscreen rendering API to read frames from the GPU without dropping any. It forwards mouse clicks, cursor position, and keyboard input from the terminal back to Chromium as synthetic events, so the embedded page behaves like a normal browser tab.

This lets a coding agent and a website occupy the same terminal tab: an agent can open a page next to its session, be given the ability to interact with it, or have the browser open automatically next to it when asked to preview an HTML plan. It also works over SSH, so it can preview a site running on a remote machine. It installs via a shell script or Homebrew and includes a plugin for Claude Code.
