The Little Kernel Embedded Operating System
A small, SMP-aware embedded operating system kernel ported to many CPU architectures, used as the bootloader in numerous Android phones.
LK is a fully reentrant, multi-threaded, preemptive kernel designed for small embedded systems. It is portable across many 32-bit and 64-bit architectures, including ARM32 and ARM64, RISC-V, x86, Motorola 68000, MIPS, and experimental VAX support, and has a modular build system with a large set of optional utility components selectable at build time.
It is used in a variety of open-source and closed-source projects, notably as the bootloader for many Android phones. Command completion for LK projects and build targets can be enabled in Bash or Zsh by sourcing a script included in the repository.
