Vemto

Vemto is a desktop application focused on generating Laravel code. It includes an intelligent schema editor that keeps a project's data schema, tables and models, synchronized with the generated code, automatically creating tables and columns for relationships and detecting the correct column type, then generating migrations, models, factories, seeders, CRUD scaffolding and API code from that schema.

The project was recently made fully open-source under the MIT license after previously being closed-source, with more than 400 tests now covering the most critical parts of the application and internal development documentation covering its architecture and code style. Building it from source requires yarn for the main application and Composer's humbug/box tool for compiling the PHP components used internally; each PHP tool under the project's app directories needs its own composer install before a full development build.
