WhichSpace

A macOS menu bar utility that shows which virtual desktop Space is active and lets you switch, move windows, and customize how Spaces are displayed across multiple screens.

WhichSpace

WhichSpace is a menu bar utility for macOS that shows which Space, or virtual desktop, is currently active, since macOS itself gives no such indicator. It can show only the active Space or every Space at once, including Spaces from every connected display, and clicking a Space switches to it directly or moves the frontmost window to it.

It supports custom colors, icons, labels, symbols, emoji, and badges per Space, adjustable icon size and fonts, global keyboard shortcuts, sound on switching, Shortcuts app actions, AppleScript automation, and a custom URL scheme. It launches at login, updates itself automatically, and is translated into multiple languages.

It installs through Homebrew or as a downloaded application, and is written in Swift under the MIT license.
