ABAP FS

ABAP FS is a VS Code extension that connects AI coding assistants to a live SAP ABAP system through dozens of specialized tools, so an assistant can read actual code, query live tables, run tests, debug, and examine custom objects instead of guessing. Asking how a function works lets the AI find it, read its code, check where it is used, and inspect related objects without the developer opening anything manually.

It works with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, and other AI tools through the Model Context Protocol, and separately provides a full manual ABAP development workflow inside VS Code: coding, debugging, testing, code-quality checks, transport management, and analysis of runtime dumps, all without switching tools. It includes automatic fallbacks for older SAP systems, optional whitelist-based access control, and telemetry.

It is written in TypeScript under the MIT license.
