Aliot SysML v2

A VS Code extension for editing SysML v2 and KerML systems-engineering models as text and diagrams, with validation, diagram views and CI-friendly automation.

Aliot SysML v2

Aliot SysML v2 is a VS Code extension for editing SysML v2 and KerML models. It offers completion, hover, navigation, rename, formatting and diagnostics for source files, along with diagram editing across General, Interconnection, Action Flow, State Transition, Sequence, Case, Geometry and Grid views, browsable through a model hierarchy. It bundles the standard OMG SysML v2 and KerML libraries, including quantities and units.

Editing source and editing diagrams stay in sync: changing a property such as a battery's capacity in the diagram view updates the model, while its definition and any other instances retain their own values. Two command-line tools, sysml-validate and sysml-diagram, bring validation and diagram export into desktop and CI workflows, and the extension can optionally expose model context, validation and requirement-trace tools to compatible VS Code AI agents, though it does not itself include an AI model or credentials.

Core modeling works without an AI account, Java or PlantUML.
