ClaudeR

A tool that connects a live R or Python session in RStudio or Positron to Claude Code, Codex or another MCP-based LLM agent, letting the agent run code, see plots and edit files in that session.

ClaudeR

ClaudeR connects a live R or Python session in RStudio or Positron to an MCP-based LLM agent such as Claude Code or Codex, so the agent runs code where the user's own data and fitted models already are, reads the objects in the session, sees the plots it draws, and can edit the file open in the editor.

Several agents can share one session and split the work between them, or run in separate sessions side by side so each works on its own dataset without touching the others. It supports multi-agent orchestration and automated manuscript auditing, and keeps a record of every line of code an agent runs.

It installs as an R package, with a companion Python package for a Python session, and adds an RStudio addin that starts a local server the agent connects to.
