DevoxxGenie

DevoxxGenie is a Java-based agentic plugin for IntelliJ IDEA that connects to local LLM providers such as Ollama, LMStudio and GPT4All, and to cloud providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini, to review, test and explain project code.

DevoxxGenie

DevoxxGenie is an IntelliJ IDEA plugin that connects the IDE to local LLM runtimes (Ollama, LMStudio, GPT4All, Llama.cpp, Nativ, Exo) or cloud providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Groq, Gemini, DeepSeek, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, NVIDIA and others) to review, test and explain code. Portable SKILL.md files placed in a user or project skills folder are activated mid-conversation by the LLM, and the same files also work in Claude Code, Codex and Gemini.

It can run Gitleaks, OpenGrep and Trivy security scans from the LLM agent and turn findings into prioritized tasks, supports Spec Driven Development with tasks defined in a backlog file and browsed in a Kanban-style Spec Browser, and can run an Agent Loop that implements several tasks in one batch. It offers fill-in-the-middle inline code completion via Ollama or LM Studio, and can call out to external CLI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI and Kimi, or communicate with external agents over the Agent Communication Protocol.

Other IntelliJ plugins can integrate with it at runtime through a reflection-based service with no compile-time dependency.
