Fake Blender Game Engine (BGE) Python API module collection: fake-bge-module

A collection of fake Python API modules for the Blender Game Engine (and its UPBGE fork), giving commonly used IDEs code completion for an API that is otherwise registered dynamically at engine startup.

Fake Blender Game Engine (BGE) Python API module collection: fake-bge-module

fake-bge-module packages fake versions of the Blender Game Engine's Python API modules purely so IDEs can offer code completion for them, since the real modules are registered programmatically when the engine starts and cannot be scraped by an IDE directly. A sibling project, fake-bpy-module, does the same for Blender itself rather than its game engine.

It installs as a pip package, either a version tied to a specific UPBGE release or a rolling "latest" package built from UPBGE's daily build, or by downloading pre-generated modules from the project's releases and installing them manually for PyCharm, Visual Studio Code, or any text editor as a Python module. It requires Python 3.8 or newer for its type hints.
