lsp-bridge

A fast, plug-and-play LSP client for Emacs that offloads language-server communication and analysis to an external multi-threaded process to avoid stalling the editor.

lsp-bridge

lsp-bridge aims to be the fastest LSP client in the Emacs ecosystem by offloading LSP requests and data analysis to an external process using multi-threading, so large responses or garbage collection do not freeze Emacs. It works immediately after installation with no manual setup of frontend or backend completion, including inside org-mode source blocks, and supports remote completion over Tramp and jump servers, including Docker.

Multiple LSP servers can be combined for one file type through a simple JSON configuration, for example combining Pyright for completion with Ruff for diagnostics and formatting in Python, and per-project server options are configured the same way.

It requires Emacs 28 or later, several Python dependencies installed via pip, and the markdown-mode and yasnippet Elisp packages; terminal completion needs a newer Emacs with tty-child-frame support.
