OpenSumi

A TypeScript framework for building AI-native IDE products, providing an extensible IDE core and an MCP client so an IDE built on it can use tools exposed by MCP servers.

OpenSumi

OpenSumi is a framework for quickly building AI-native IDE and web IDE products. It provides the core building blocks of an IDE, such as an editor, panels, extensions and an Electron-based desktop shell, and acts as an MCP client, letting an IDE built on the framework use tools exposed by Model Context Protocol servers.

The project is published as a set of npm packages, includes end-to-end and continuous-integration test suites, and can be opened directly in a browser-based development environment through CodeBlitz.

It is written in TypeScript and licensed under MIT.
