PawWork

A Chrome extension that turns the browser into a bring-your-own-key web agent: select something on a page, describe the outcome you want, and get back an editable office file.

PawWork

PawWork, also called BrowserKitten, is an unpacked Chrome extension that treats an already logged-in browser as a programmable computer. A side-panel agent drives the current tab, executes guest JavaScript against the page, and keeps spreadsheet, document, and site-HTML artifacts in the session, letting a user select something on a live page, describe the desired outcome, and receive an editable office file back.

It is bring-your-own-key: there is no hosted model and no server, and an OpenAI-compatible API key is pasted into the side panel and stored only in the browser's local extension storage. It is not distributed through the Chrome Web Store and is loaded as an unpacked extension in developer mode. Its architecture layers a side panel, a service worker, an offscreen session workspace service, and a tool-loop agent.

It is written in JavaScript and released under the MIT license.

A visible, persistent Electron browser that exposes durable, named agent workspaces over MCP, so a coding agent's browser session stays open and inspectable independently of any one AI conversation.

  • Prompt OS

    github.com

A desktop AI agent for Windows that executes terminal commands, manages files, writes and runs code, browses the web and reads the screen, acting on natural-language requests rather than only answering them.
