vize

An experimental, Rust-native toolchain for Vue.js that shares one parser across compilation, linting, type-checking, formatting and editor tooling.

vize

vize is a Rust-native toolchain for Vue that runs compilation, linting, type-checking, formatting and editor tooling from one shared parser, instead of stitching together several separate tools that each parse Vue files their own way. It plugs into an existing setup through a Vite plugin, a Nuxt module, an Oxlint plugin, and a Vite plugin for a component-gallery tool.

On an existing Vue 3 and Vite app, its Vite plugin can be swapped in for the standard Vue plugin to replace single-file-component compilation alone, leaving linting, formatting and type-checking on whatever tools a project already uses until they are added separately; a project-scripts package can instead wire up the whole toolchain at once in a new or existing Vue, Vite or Nuxt project, including a dry-run preview of what a migration would change.

The project describes itself as experimental and in a real-world testing phase, not yet production-ready, with breaking changes and behavior that diverges from Vue still expected. It is written in Rust and released under the MIT license.
