YouCompleteMe

A fast, as-you-type fuzzy code-completion, comprehension and refactoring engine for Vim, built on multiple semantic completion engines and the Language Server Protocol.

YouCompleteMe

YouCompleteMe is a fast, as-you-type, fuzzy-search code completion, comprehension and refactoring engine for Vim. It includes several completion engines built in and supports any protocol-compliant Language Server, letting it work with a wide range of languages beyond the ones it bundles semantic completers for directly, including C-family languages, Java, C#, Python, Rust, Go, JavaScript and TypeScript.

Recommended installation uses the project's own install.py script, with a separate, more advanced full installation guide for less common setups. Its user guide covers general usage, its client-server architecture, completion string ranking, signature help, semantic highlighting, inlay hints, diagnostic display, symbol search, and type and call hierarchy features, along with commands for going to a definition, refactoring, and other semantic actions.

Support requests are handled directly by the maintainers rather than through Vim's IRC channel, and the project documents a troubleshooting guide and FAQ for common installation and usage problems.
