ZeroBrane Studio

ZeroBrane Studio is a small, portable Lua IDE, written in Lua itself and extensible with Lua packages, supporting Lua 5.1 through 5.4, LuaJIT, and engines such as LOVE, Moai, Gideros, Corona, and Cocos2d-x, among others. It provides code completion and scope-aware variable indicators, syntax highlighting for over 125 languages and file formats, an integrated local and remote debugger, static analysis to catch errors during development, and live coding for several supported engines.

Other features include a project view with file filtering, an interactive console for testing snippets against a local or remote session, multi-cursor editing with scope-aware renaming, fuzzy search for files and symbols, and find-and-replace across multiple files with preview and undo. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and can be installed into and run from any directory.
